In a world of climate and political crisis the need for dreaming up utopian scenarios becomes essential to counter a possible dystopian and destructive view on the future - and it is art that can and should play a central role in this undertaking. CYBER PARADISE tries to approach this call by presenting one of these possible utopias: a jungle made out of roots and wires, habituated by electrified plants and insectoid drones, a self-sustaining, autonomous ecosystem, powering itself by water and electricity alike.

This might be a disconcerting future, where we humans seemed to be excluded, but is it not also a potentially peaceful one? Is it not only a matter of time until we proceed from discussing our rights and the rights of animals to the rights of any organic and technological beings and is it not therefore about time to give these beings a place on stage as protagonists?
